However for those who live in North America you have a number of options in the Caribbean. Now Asia is where the virus originally came from, but that is in China. There are a number of great locations that can still be visited by would be travelers. Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia to name but a few. I do know that there are a number of expats who normally live in China who are hanging out in Thailand till the worst is over. For those looking to go on a family vacation Chiang Mai is a great choice, lots of sights to see not mentioned it's pretty family friendly. If you are single and looking to party the epidemic away then Pattaya is more your speed, When every fifth business is a bar you cant go wrong. All of that being said I was told that at the moment Phuket, while a popular destination was not all that great at the moment.Europe

For European travelers, the Scandinavian countries of Norway, Sweden, and Finland look to be pretty safe. They are great for hiking and water sports. In fact I recently found out that there is surfing in Norway, so why not give that a try? Or go and tour some museums to learn more about the Vikings. Also if you like snow sports, most were invented in this region, skiing and hockey are five thousand year old sports created by the Norsemen. You could also try Saint Petersburg, which boasts some of the best architecture in Europe. Not to mention culture galore. Go and see Peter the Great's miracle on the Neva River.

For Central and South America popular destinations like Costa Rica, Peru, Belize, and Chile are still with out any cases. Find a nice tropical location or climb some American pyramids while you wait out the virus. Latin food, music and mixed with warm climates and beaches make these excellent destinations not to get sick in.I would like to point out that I am not trying to encourage the spread of the pandemic, I merely offering suggestions for those who wish to get out and see the world and don't want to feel like they are stuck in a prison that strangely looks like their own home.
